RFB-2702 Chip Seal Stone and Native Stone
Description:
1. GENERAL:
a) To provide the best adhesion to cold oil, the cleanest possible aggregates are required. Standard sizes of washed screened & crushed gravel shall exceed the New York State Specifications 703.02. These items have been included to address specific needs for cold mix paving and surface treatment applications.
b) Aggregate meeting the requirements of NYSDOT Tables 703-2, and 703-3 shall be accepted unless service records indicate that it is unsound or that the material is otherwise determined to be unsatisfactory by the owner.
