Project Description: The City of Dallas (City) Office of Housing and Community Empowerment (OHCE) is seeking to establish a one-year agreement, with one one-year renewal option, to administer an Eviction Advocacy Program for Dallas residents facing eviction. The purpose of the program is to support vulnerable Dallas tenants facing eviction and potential housing instability or homelessness through the provision of legal support, including legal representation, to tenants facing eviction. The program shall serve Dallas residents and shall make legal assistance services available at no cost to the client. This project is aligned with the City’s adopted Drivers of Opportunity policy framework in advancing Opportunity Rich Neighborhoods through supporting Stable and Accessible Housing and can help to provide residents with Pathways to Economic Security.
