Description

This is a combined RFI/Sources Sought/Notice of Intent issued in accordance with FAR Part 5.203 on behalf of the Commander, Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC) Procurement Group, Patuxent River, MD. This procurement is for TF34 Compressor Inlet Temperature (CIT) Sensor repair as described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), Attachment 1, at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) located in Jacksonville, FL.

FRCSE is an industrial facility that reworks, repairs, and overhauls various aircraft, engines, and components. The FRCSE is the depot source of repair (DSOR) for the Air Force A-10 engine components. The TF34-100A engine powers the Air Force A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft. The A-10’s primary mission is to provide close air support to the ground forces of the United States (US) military. FRCSE does not have the capability to repair CIT Sensors for the TF34-100A platform and therefore requires inspection, overhaul and investigation services for these components.

The NAICS code for this acquisition is 488190- Other Support Activities for Air Transportation. Although this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes, interested parties may submit capability statements via email to the Contract Specialist, Karen Harris, karen.m.harris36.civ@us.navy.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
