ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
City of Driggs (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
S 5th Street & Johnson Avenue Improvements
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Driggs City Hall - Clerkâs Office located at 60 South Main Street, Driggs, ID 83422 until Monday May 11th, 2026 at 1:00PM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud in the City Hall Council Chambers at 60 South Main Street, Driggs, ID 83422.
The Project consists of reconstructing the 5th Street / Johnson Avenue roadway corridor with paved lanes and a separated multi-use path. The roadway will be constructed to one lane in each direction. Additional work includes irrigation ditches, culverts, illumination, concrete sidewalk, and roadway approaches. Contractor is also responsible for Traffic Control through the duration of the project and must adhere to the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
Bid forms, bidding instructions and conditions, contract documents, plans and specifications may be obtained at Driggs City Hall, 60 S Main Street, for $20, or may be downloaded via the links below this notice.
Pre-bid Conference: A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 1 PM local time on April 29th in the Driggs City Hall Council Chambers at 60 S. Main St., Driggs, ID 83422. All questions should be submitted to the Project Engineer, Ben Davis, at bdavis@kellerassociates.com. Questions from bidders will be received until Friday May 1, 2026, at 5:00PM local time. Answers and any addenda will be posted on this project webpage and emailed to those who attended the Pre-Bid Meeting by Tuesday May 5, 2026 at 5:00PM.
Instruction to Bidders: For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. The City of Driggs reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Driggs.
