The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for market research purposes and to determine if there are electric galley equipment manufacturers other than Insinger and Vulcan that can fulfill the needs of replacing current gas appliances with electric appliances which will be a direct fit for existing facility footprints and utility connections.

No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any requested follow-up information. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research. General Work Requirements:

Replace galley steam equipment in the Building 7122 USS Pearl Harbor Processing Day BEQ at Camp Moffett, Naval Station Great Lakes. Remove the steam boiler system and replace the antiquated steam utilizing galley service equipment and systems with electric powered equipment. The existing system consists of two (2) Cleaver-Brooks 1.38 Mbtu/hr each 25 psi steam boilers servicing the B-7122 P-Day barracks galley and are approaching failure. The galley service equipment (steam pot/pan washers, steam ware washers, and steam kettles) are also original nearly 20-year-old equipment that are in need of upgrade via replacement.
