The Intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is for the County of Loudoun, Virginia (County) to obtain the services of a qualified General Contractor to construct the Leesburg South Fire and Rescue Station #28 (the Project). This Project shall include construction of a new approximately 25,000 square-foot facility and associated site improvements. The Project is located at 21451 The Woods Road, Leesburg, Virginia, 20175 (County Parcel Identification Number 279-49-2419-000).
    The facility will include all site amenities typical for a fire station such as a generator and fuel tank, propane tanks, electric vehicle charging stations, and heavy-duty concrete. The building will utilize standing seam metal roofing, brick and concrete masonry units, wood and metal exterior materials. Interior materials include drywall, window shades, vinyl, wood, epoxy, acoustical panels and ceramic. There will be administrative offices, watch room, training room, dayroom, exercise room, restrooms, locker rooms, showers, kitchen, pantry, dining areas, decontamination areas, hazmat lab, hazmat storage, bunk rooms, gear lockers, laundry, information technology (IT), electrical and mechanical areas, plus five (5) drive-thru apparatus bays with bifold exterior doors.
