SEWERS AND FORCE MAINS
PROPOSAL DUE DATE: 3:00 p.m. (EST), OCTOBER 7, 2026
Firms are hereby notified that this addendum shall be made as part of the above-named proposal and contract
documents. The following are issued to revise/clarify the proposal and contract documents, and these items shall
have the same force and effect as the original proposal and contract documents. Proposals to be submitted on
the above-specified date at Purchasing shall conform to the revisions and clarifications as listed herein.
ITEM # 1 QUESTIONS/ANSWERS
Q1: The address 375 Date Street does not appear on the Charlotte County GIS mapping website,
but it does appear in Google Maps. Can the County confirm the address 375 Date Street in the
RFP is correct, and if so, can the County confirm the location?
A1: There was a typo in this address; the correct address is 175 Date Street.
Q2: Section RP-14.A.4 Professional Liability Insurance Coverage is based on the estimated
construction value of the project. The first breakpoint is under $9,999,999. What is the estimated
construction costs?
A2: The Professional Liability coverage required would be 4a in that section.
Q3: Will the project require subsurface?
A3: Yes, soil borings are required.
Q4: Please describe further the anticipated scope for archeological. Also, will this require field
investigations or just desktop analysis?
A4: Yes, the consultant needs to perform all archeological tasks required to meet all regulations.
Q5: RP-19 Scope of Services. What consultant and contractor are performing the utility work
being installed in the Harborview Road widening project? Do you anticipate that project's
construction to be completed before this project's design will be done?
A5: The Harborview Road widening project is a separate contract (tentative bid in late 2027 or 2028).
This project needs to be ahead of the Harborview Road project since these lift stations and gravity sewers
are required for the Harborview Road project to connect to for service.
Q6: RF-19 Scope of Services. Who is leading the hydraulic modeling referenced in this section?
A6: CCU has a separate sewer modeling contract with a consultant that completes that work effort.
Q7: What funding does the County intend to apply for?
A7: SRF Loans or an applicable grant are possible. Nothing definite at this time.
Q8: Is there an overall page limit? If so, what is it and what sections are included within that limit?
A8: There is not a limit.
This addendum is binding and is to be considered as if contained within the original proposal documents of RFP
No. 20260664. Firms are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their proposal forms.
