NOTICE OF AWARD
The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Network Contracting Office 16, (NCO16) in accordance with VAAR 819.7008 has awarded contract 36C25625P1757 on a sole-source basis to Veterans Tactical Solutions LLC., a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), for unarmed guards to support the Jackson, MS VAMC.
The determination not to compete the requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of award and the justification and approval memo will be posted to the government point of entry on SAMs.gov.
Contract 36C25625P1757 was awarded on 09/25/2025 in the amount of $432,558.00. The pricing for the contract was found to be fair and reasonable and in the best interest of the government.
This project will provide unarmed security guards to augment the medical center s police force ensuring safety of Veterans, Patients, and medical center staff. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 561612 with a small business size Standard of $29 million.
The authority for restricting competition on this requirement is VAAR 819.7008 and 38 U.S.C. 8127(c), known as the Veterans First Contracting Program, which provides the authority to directly contract with an SDVOSB or a VOSB. The decision to make a sole-source award is a business decision wholly within the discretion of the Government.
