The Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical School District (the "District") seeks proposals from qualified veterinary service providers ("Vendor") to occupy, manage, and operate a veterinary clinic located on the District's campus.The intent is to enter into a 3-year lease agreement, optional renewal terms up to 25 years, with a veterinary services provider that demonstrates operational excellence, educational collaboration, community responsiveness, and statutory compliance. The clinic consists of 5700 sq ft, with a reception and waiting area, 3 exam rooms, 2 surgical rooms, an X-ray facility, a laboratory area, a laundry facility, a common work area, 3 restrooms, a conference room, and parking spaces for clients. The clinic includes multiple pieces of state-of-the-art equipment. The clinic is adjacent to two classrooms for additional student engagement, an educational pet-grooming facility, a dog-training facility, and a small exotic animal vivarium. The selected Vendor will deliver high-quality veterinary care to the public while providing a structured, hands-on educational partnership with the staff and students of the District's Veterinary Science Program throughout the school day. The Vendor is responsible for all operational costs, including but not limited to staff salaries, benefits, clinic supplies and medications, telephone expenses, and scheduled maintenance of equipment. The District will provide the clinic space with equipment through a rental agreement, pricing (inclusive of cleaning services) to be proposed by the Vendor as the Price Proposal. In addition, the District will cover the cost of all utilities, property maintenance, and equipment. Following an implementation period of July 1, 2026 to August 31, 2026, the clinic has a tentative scheduled opening date of September 1, 2026. The District highly recommends attending the Site Visit on Wednesday, April 15th @ 4: 30 PM, ENSATSD Veterinary Clinic, 565 Maple Street, Danvers to view the space and equipment supplied by the District. This RFP is issued in accordance with Massachusetts procurement laws and District policy.
