Description
INTRODUCTION:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program
Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a
single Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Bid-Build EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades at the VA Medical Center located at 100 Emancipation Drive Hampton, VA 23667.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The VA Medical Center has a requirement to completely upgrade our Electronic Health Records Management Infrastructure. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, expertise, administration, supervision, and transportation as necessary to perform all work in accordance with provided construction specifications, drawings, all documents attached to this contract, all terms and conditions of this contract for Project No. 590-22-700 EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades at the VA Medical Center in Hampton, VA.
ADMINISTRATIVE:
The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Part 15 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business
(SDVOSB) set-aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered.
The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a
size standard of $45 million. The solicitation is estimated to be issued late February early March 2026. The period of performance is approximately 1095 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of construction is between $20,000.000.00 and $50,000,000.00. This notice is not a request for competitive offers.
