Title: FAS 270 Bridge Guard Fence Replacement-Construction

This project consists of removal and replacement of 1400’ of existing guard fence at the FAS 270 Bridge on Hedge Lane over the Marais des Cygnes River. The guard fence attachments to the bridge shall also be replaced, which entails removal of a portion of the existing concrete corral rail and end blocks at all 4 quadrants of the bridge. Specific items of work include removal of existing concrete rails and end blocks, removal and disposal of existing guard fence and posts, reinforced concrete forming/placement, drilling, and grouting of rebar, tying of rebar, guard fence and end terminal installation, guard fence attachment to bridge structure, and all traffic control related to temporary signal installation and maintenance during construction.
