The Kananaskis Region has water and wastewater infrastructure spread over remote geographic locations that require both scheduled maintenance and emergency servicing in a timely manner. To support this work, the region intends to enter into a contract with one or more companies to provide planned and emergent services as required.
The work involved requires the services of specialized vacuum trucks to remove and dispose of sewage and wastewater from lift stations, holding tanks, vault toilets and high concentration barrels from fly-out backcountry campground toilets. The contract will also require the supply and delivery of potable water to various facilities and campgrounds.
