The United States (US) Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance & Special Operations Forces (ISR & SOF) Directorate, Special Warfare (SW) Program Office (AFLCMC/WISN) is conducting market research to identify possible sources capable of providing thermal optics technology to enable Guardian Angel (GA) teams to find, fix and track isolated personnel (IP) with limited power and resources, while limiting the time and exposure of personnel conducting searches over a wide area in contested environments, particularly maritime environments. GA requires an increased standoff capability with greater threat detection in order to locate IP in diverse environments for recovery operations. GA must increase the ability to connect, sense, detect, share and enhance battlefield awareness for mission success.
See Attachment for additional details and instructions on submitting a response.
