The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price purchase order as a Total Small Business Set-Aside to:
Corinne M. Goldsmith, Inc. (Small Business)
This requirement is for specialized Senior Biologist services in support of the Sjögren’s Disease Biomarkers Consortium. The contractor will provide biospecimen logistics support, including sample intake, tracking, transport, FFPE block management, tissue microarray (TMA) coordination, and maintenance of audit-ready documentation necessary for multi-omic analyses.
Period of Performance:
Base Year: April 9, 2026 – April 8, 2027
Option Year 1: April 9, 2027 – April 8, 2028
Option Year 2: April 9, 2028 – April 8, 2029
The Government intends to award on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), as only one responsible source is reasonably available. The identified small business contractor possesses unique qualifications, including extensive project-specific experience, established biospecimen workflows, and the ability to perform immediately without disruption to ongoing research.
This procurement is being conducted as a Total Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with FAR Part 19.

Size Standard: $19.0 million
This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. However, any other small business concerns that believe they can satisfy this requirement may submit a capability statement.
