INVITATION FOR BID

For

CONTRACT NO. PW-26-10

WATER LEAK DETECTION

DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS

TEWKSBURY, MASSACHUSETTS

Sealed Bids for WATER LEAK DETECTION, Contract PW-26-10, will be received by the Town

of Tewksbury at the Department of Public Works office, 999 Whipple Road, Tewksbury, MA

01876, until 11:00 AM, on October 23, 2025 at that time and place bids will be publicly opened

and read aloud.

The Work under this contract shall consist of WATER LEAK DETECTION services within the

Town of Tewksbury yearly and to a lesser amount to be determined by the Owner as needed.

Contract Documents are available after 8:00 AM local time on Monday,

September 15, 2025 by going to www.tewksbury-ma.gov under the Department of Public Works

tab. No monetary deposit is required to obtain the documents. Bidders are responsible to notify

addenda. Contract Documents may also be examined, but not obtained, at the DPW office during

the following hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and

Workforce Development under the provision of Massachusetts General Law (M.G.L.) c. 149, §

26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Contractor, before bid

opening, to request if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those

tradespeople who may be employed for the proposed work under this Contract.

The bidding and Award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. c. 30B. The

Town reserves the right, in its absolute and sole discretion to reject any or all Bids if deemed to

be in its best interest.
