Navajo Area Indian Health Services (NAIHS), Crownpoint Healthcare Facility located in Crownpoint, New Mexico intends to negotiate a one-time, sole source, firm fixed priced Blanket Purchase Agreeement (BPA) with CEPHEID, 904 Caribbean DR, Sunnyvale, California 94089-1189 for CEPHEID Reagents to be ordered on an "AS NEEDED BASIS" This acquisition is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), due exclusive licensing agreements. CPSU Laboratory Department currently owns CEPHEID Analyzers therefore needs compatible reagents to ensure the validity of tests results.
The Proposed Contractor; CEPHEID is the sole distributor/manufacturer of reagents needed for testing and additional services required for instrument performance. The Test Kits are compatible with the Cepheid Instrumentation utilized by Crownpoint Healthcare Facility. These kits will be used to provide rapid clinical testing for treatment during respiratory season.
This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Only emailed responses will be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence, that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Last day to provide affirmative written response is March 28th, 2025 at 8:00am EST.
A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement base upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
