Macedon and Williamson Radio Sites Project

This project consists of work at two communications tower locations within Wayne County, NY. Work and equipment will be as separately detailed herein. Both sites dealt within this Bid are already developed, with both towers already constructed. Site descriptions immediately follow:
Macedon: Work at this site is to include:

• Procurement and installation of two omni-directional antennas
• Procurement and installation of coaxial cable and connectors
• Procurement and installation of tower sidearm antenna mounts
• Procurement and installation of backhaul antennas and cabling for this site and for the link destination site on Lorraine Drive in Walworth
• Construction of two concrete pads; for communications shelter (building) and back-up power generator
• Procurement and installation of one 10’x12’ prefabricated concrete communications shelter
• Installation of a 45 KW Cummins back-up generator and transfer switch (the County will purchase the generator and transfer switch separately)
• Installation of commercial electric and natural gas service to the shelter and generator as appropriate

Williamson: Work at this site is to include:

• Procurement and installation of one omni-directional antenna
• Procurement and installation of coaxial cable and connectors
• Procurement and installation of one tower sidearm antenna mount
• Procurement and installation of backhaul antennas and cabling for this site and for the link destination site on Everdyke Road in Williamson

The existing communications shelter at the Williamson site will be utilized by the County. The work to be accomplished by the Contractor at this site will not include any shelter work, nor any back-up power work. Work will be limited exclusively to antenna and cable procurement and installation on the existing tower, at the 200’ level.
