Description


The Bryan County Board of Commissioners is seeking Sealed proposals for the construction of a new 50¿yd outdoor shooting range for the Bryan County Sheriff¿s Dept. located at 4611 Bacontown Road, Pembroke, Georgia 31321.
Sealed Proposals will be accepted at the Commission Meeting Room on the 2nd floor of the Bryan County Administration Building, located at 66 Captain Matthew Freeman Drive, Richmond Hill, GA 31324 until 2:30 PM, July 29, 2025 at which time they will be opened publicly.
The scope of the project shall consist of the following generally described work: Construction of a 50¿yard outdoor shooting range with covered pavilion. Fill material for the embankment is to be excavated procured from the expansion of the existing onsite pond.
Plans and Specifications are to be obtained from Thomas & Hutton Engineering Co.,(Issuing Office) at 50 Park of Commerce Way, Savannah, Georgia 31405 upon payment of$250.00 (plus shipping charges as applicable). The payment is nonrefundable. Contact Karen Smulski via phone (912) 234¿5300, or email: smulski.k@tandh.com to request plans and specifications. Only Bidders who obtain documents from Thomas & Hutton (the Issuing Office) shall be placed on the plan holder list and allowed to submit bids.
A Pre¿Bid Meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. in the Commission Meeting Room on the 2nd floor of the Bryan County Administration Building, located at 66 Captain Matthew Freeman Drive, Richmond Hill, Georgia 31324. Following the Pre¿Bid Conference will be a visit to the Project site. The Pre¿Bid Conference is mandatory for the potential Bidders. Failure to attend could be cause for rejection of the bid. Last day for Questions to submit in writing shall be Friday, July 18, 2025, at 5 P.M.
