Project Description: Penn West University, Edinboro Campus, of the PA State System of Higher Education invites Contractors to download bid documents for this project.
Work for the Project shall be accomplished by Multiple Prime Contractors according to Pennsylvania statute. The Lead Prime Contractor shall be the General Contractor. Specific instructions for coordination and responsibilities of the Lead Prime Contractor are contained in Section 0131000, Project Management and Coordination, and elsewhere throughout the Contract Documents.
The work included under this Project consists of removal and replacement of masonry and concrete ADA ramps at Compton and Loveland Halls. New concrete sidewalks are required by the re-design of the ADA ramps.
Work shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all General Construction to the satisfaction of, and subject to approval of the Professional and State System of Higher Education.
A Pre-Bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on April 25, 2025, at 11am, at the Pogue Student Center, Room 303, 405 Scotland Road, Edinboro, PA 16444. The pre-bid meeting is not mandatory but highly recommended.
Electronic Bids are due no later than 2:00 PM, EST on May 15, 2025, through Penn Bid Bonfire located at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.
The Bid package is available at no cost via Penn Bid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/ In order to submit a proposal, interested bidders need to register with Penn Bid.
