INVITATION FOR BIDS
The Jonesboro Urban Renewal and Housing Authority will be accepting bids for plumbing (Jonesboro and Imboden) and electrical services (Imboden Only) for units located in Jonesboro and Imboden Arkansas. Bids for this project will be accepted until 10:00 a.m. April 18, 2025 at the Jonesboro Urban Renewal and Housing Authority Office, 330 Union Street, Jonesboro, Arkansas. At that time and place, all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bid specifications are available at the JURHA Office, 330 Union, Jonesboro, Arkansas, and (870)336-9613 or by emailing Randy Hoeschen ( rjhoeschen@att.net ).
The successful bidder shall be required to carry, Workman’s Compensation Insurance for all its employees and those of its subcontractor. All prospective bidders MUST provide with the bid, a written “Section 3” Action Plan showing their intent to comply with Section 3 Plan. The contractor must abide by the applicable wage rates, as set out by HUD. Attention is called to the fact that the Contractors must insure that the employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The Contractor shall obtain all permits and licenses necessary for work. The contractor must abide by the applicable wage rates, as set out by HUD. JURHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any information in the bidding.
Bids may be held by the JURHA for a period not to exceed thirty days from the date of the opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders prior to awarding the contact.
