NOTICE OF SINGLE SOURCE TO THE PUBLIC
Shelby County Government has identified a single source purchase for the goods/services as
listed below. This notice is not a request for bid, proposal, or qualifications.
Single Source – PRE-EMPLOYMENT PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTING
The identified vendor will:
1. Perform regulatory compliance psychological assessments for potential Law Enforcement
Officers, Corrections Deputies, and Dispatchers of the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.
2. Services shall meet the standards set forth within Tennessee Code Annotaed sections 8-8-
102(a)(8) and 38-8-109 (9).
3. Board Certified Psychologist in Police and Public Safety
4. Testing process must be endorsed by the TN POST Commission and TCI (Tennessee
Corrections Institute).
5. Provide written results to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Human Resources Office
following each evaluation.
Procurement Timing/Deadlines:

1. Term: July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027
2. Renewal: Second renewal option

In accordance with Shelby County’s Purchasing policy, notice of single source will be posted on
the County’s website for seven (7) days prior to award.
Notice expires on September 14, 2026 at 2:30 p.m.
