Description

The CBRM Water Utility seeks to engage a qualified land agent to connect with private property owners and assess their interest in participating in the program. The land agent will:
- Identify undeveloped or high-priority private parcels within designated watershed protection areas;
- Contact landowners to gauge interest in selling, donating, or otherwise conserving their property;
- Communicate available options, including fair-market purchase, donation with tax incentives, or conservation designation in partnership with provincial and federal programs;
- Facilitate coordination between landowners, CBRM Water Utility staff, and partner agencies to support appraisals, documentation, and negotiations.
