CONDITIONS

1. ALL QUOTATIONS MUST BE SIGNED. Enclose in an envelope plainly marked “BID”.

2. In submitting the above, the vendor agrees that acceptance of any or all quotations by the purchasing office within a reasonable period

constitutes a contract.

3. Right is reserved to reject any or all bids, or to accept separate items in a bid, unless the right is denied by bidder.

4. In case of default, the municipality may procure its supplies from other sources, and hold the original bidder or contractor liable for

resulting increased costs.

5. Samples, if requested, must be furnished at bidder’s expense and, if not destroyed in testing, or retained as a standard, will be returned on

same terms, if requested.

6. The Purchasing Agent reserves the right to increase or decrease by ten percent the quantities of any item or items ordered.

Issuing Office

The City issues this Request for Quotation through the City of Port Huron’s McMorran

Place Entertainment Center.

Purpose

The City of Port Huron is seeking sealed Request for Quotations for the purchase and

delivery of a 40' x 140' Gable Frame Tent and related accessories to be delivered to

McMorran Place, located at 701 McMorran Blvd, Port Huron, MI 48060.

Specifications:

• • (1) 40' x 20' Gable Frame Tent Grommet End, 16 oz. Ratchet Top, Solid White

• • (5) 40' x 20' Classic Series Frame Tent Mid, 16 oz. Ratchet Top, Solid White

• • (1) 40' x 20' Gable Frame Tent Lace End, 16 oz. Ratchet Top, Solid White

• • (1) 40' x 140' Gable Frame Aluminum Double Tube 8' Pole and Fitting Kit

• • (36) 42" x 1" Single Head Tent Stakes

• • (36) 2" x 5' Gray Ratchet Straps

• • (6) 8' x 20' White Sidewalls

• • (8) 8' x 30' White Sidewalls

Delivery Requirements:

All materials shall be delivered to McMorran Place, 701 McMorran Blvd., Port Huron, MI

48060. Delivery must be completed by April 1, 2026. The supplier shall notify the City of

Port Huron prior to shipment to coordinate delivery logistics.

Evaluation Criteria:

Request for Quotations will be evaluated based on price, product quality, adherence to

specifications, warranty, and vendor reliability. The City of Port Huron reserves the

right to reject any or all Request for Quotations, to waive any informalities or

irregularities, and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the City.

General Conditions:

1. All Request for Quotations must be submitted in accordance with the

instructions provided in this document.

2. The bidder is responsible for all costs incurred in preparing and submitting

their Request for Quotation.

3. All equipment and materials shall be new and of current manufacture.

4. Bidders must provide warranty information for all items.

5. Any deviations from these specifications must be clearly stated in the Request

for Quotation.

6. The City reserves the right to inspect items upon delivery to ensure compliance.
