Bid Synopsis: The purpose of this document is to provide interested parties with information to enable them to prepare and submit a proposal to expand evidence-based home visiting services to counties and tribes in the state that are at high risk for poor maternal, child, and family outcomes.

The Department of Children’s and Families (DCF) funds and administers contracts for Family Foundation Home Visiting Programs (FFHV) aiming to improve maternal, child, and family outcomes in at-risk communities through the provision of voluntary, high-quality, evidence-based home visiting programming and coordination with needed services. Evidence-based home visiting services herein are described as the following five national home visiting models: Healthy Families America, Parents as Teachers, Nurse Family Partnership, Early Head Start Home Based, and Family Spirit.
