Request for Qualifications: Q-25-03-COC Engineering Services for the Pineda Causeway Water Main

The City of Cocoa is requesting Statements of Qualifications from qualified engineering firms in the state of Florida to provide the City with assistance regarding the anticipated design, permitting, procurement assistance, and services during construction of the Pineda Causeway Phase 2 Water Main Installation Project (Project).  The City’s objective is to select one engineering firm (also referred to herein as “Consultant”) to serve as the engineering firm that will be required to assist the City in design, permitting, services during construction, and any other engineering related services for the Project.

All services performed shall be in accordance with the specifications in the solicitation, which may be examined at the office of the Purchasing Manager, located at 65 Stone St., Cocoa, Florida 32922. The City reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to select among the Respondents of this RFQ, or through other solicitation procedures, other engineering/consulting firms to handle identified professional services associated with the Project if the City deems it in the City’s best interests to do so.  This solicitation shall be part of the Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA) process as mandated in F.S.287.055 and the City of Cocoa Purchasing Policy.

The City reserves the right to reject any or all /proposals, with or without a cause; to waive technical errors and informalities; and to award proposals to the highest rated responsive and responsible proposer. One or more of the City Council members may be present at the proposal opening.
