TWO FOUR STROKE OUTBOARD MOTORS

The Town of Weymouth is soliciting sealed proposals for the purchase of two (2) Yamaha F300UCB Four Stroke Outboard Motors (or similar as approved by the Chief of Police) to be received at the Town of WeymouthProcurement Office, Town Hall Annex, 111 Middle Street, Weymouth, MA 02189 no later than 11:00am Monday, April 7, 2025.
Procurement to include electronic throttle package and fuel water filtration system, and Yamaha Engine Management Command Link Plus LCD Display Instrumentation. With 2 spare propellers. The manufacturer warranty will begin upon commissioning of engines at date to be determined. Included in this quotation is removal of existing motors and rigging, installation of new motors and rigging package at a date to be determined later. Vendor will also complete sea trials with Officers, maintain yearly maintenance and repairs, and splash boat once repowering is complete.

NOTE TO ALL BIDDERS: Potential Vendor will procure, deliver and install to Weymouth Police Department, 140 Winter Street Weymouth, MA 02188

RFP Documents will be available Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 9:00am by emailing procurement@weymouth.ma.us

In accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 30B, sealed bids will be accepted by mail or in person to Procurement Office, Town Hall Annex, 111 Middle Street, Weymouth until 11:00am on Monday, April 7, 2025 and will be publicly opened and read in the conference room located at the Weymouth Town Hall Annex, 111 Middle Street, Weymouth, MA  02189.  If any bid is received after the scheduled deadline of 11:00 a.m. on April 7, 2025, it will be considered non-responsive and therefore disqualified.

The Town of Weymouth reserves the right to reject any and all qualifications, to waive any informality, and to not award a contract, if it is deemed in the best interest of the Town of Weymouth.

All questions and requests for clarifications must be received in writing by 3:00pm on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.  All answers will be in the form of an addendum and sent to registered bidders by 3:00pm on Friday April 4, 2025.  All questions are to be sent in writing to procurement@weymouth.ma.us .

All pricing must be submitted on the RFP Bid Form with all areas completed.  Any section not filled in will be considered as Non-Responsive and the bid will not be considered. Bids must contain the name and proper address of the bidder and must be signed.  Bids, which are not complete, or contain any omissions, erasures, alterations, additions, or contain irregularities of any kind, may be rejected as informal.

Envelopes containing bids must be sealed and addressed to:
