. Any addenda will be sent to all companies marked as having requested the bid. Failure to acknowledge addenda may result in a bid rejection.
A pre-bid conference is scheduled for: Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 1:00 PM at which time the project site will be made available for inspection. Representatives from the Town of Medfield and the Engineering firm will be present to conduct the walkthrough.
General Bids must be accompanied by the Form for General Bid, Unit Price Form, Bid Deposit, Certificate of Tax Compliance, Certificate of Authority, Certificate of Good Faith and OSHA Compliance Certification shall be enclosed in envelopes (outer and inner) in order to guard against premature opening of the Bid; both of which shall be sealed and clearly labeled with the words:

Bidder’s Company Name and Address shall appear on the sealed envelope.
Bids will be accepted until the bid deadline of 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Following the bid deadline, bids received will be publicly opened on the second floor. Late bids will be rejected. The project shall be procured in accordance with the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 44A through Section 44J, inclusive.
