Solid Waste Collection, Disposal and Recycling Program

Project Description: Notice is hereby given that the East Caln Township Board of Supervisors is soliciting sealed bids for the Solid Waste Collection, Disposal and Recycling Program for the Township of East Caln (hereinafter the “Township”).
All bids must be submitted electronically to the Township via PennBid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com. Bid instructions and specifications will be uploaded and available for review at no cost on PennBid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com around May 16, 2025. All documents, affidavits and other information accompanying the bids shall be submitted to the Township along with the bids. Bids must be submitted no later than 10:00 AM (prevailing local time) on June 16, 2025, at which time the bidding will be closed. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, certified check or a bid bond, payable to the Township of East Caln, in the amount of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00).
All questions for the Township shall be submitted via the “Ask a Question” feature in PennBid. Questions shall not be answered if received after 10:00 AM (prevailing local time) on June 6, 2025.
Bids received will be revealed at 1:00PM on Monday, June 16, 2025 at the East Caln Township Building located at 110 Bell Tavern Road, Downingtown, PA 19335. THE TOWNSHIP WILL CONSIDER AND ACT UPON THE CONTRACT AT A REGULAR TOWNSHIP MEETING AT THE TOWNSHIP BUILDING LOCATED AT 110 BELL TAVERN ROAD, DOWNINGTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 1:30 PM (prevailing local time) or at a subsequent Township meeting. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any nonconformity deemed in the best interest of the Township.
