Maintenance, Licensing, and Support of Tessitura Software

The Department of Minnesota IT Services (MNIT), partnering with the Minnesota Zoological Garden (Zoo), intends to enter an agreement with Tessitura Network, Inc. , for up to five years. The agreement is to provide continued, uninterrupted use of the Tessitura software and provide maintenance, licensing, and support services for the Tessitura software used by the Zoo . The Zoo uses the software to track ticket sales, zoo memberships, donations, event reservations, attendance, and volunteer management .

After a search, the Zoo determined that the Tessitura software is the only software available to meet its business needs. I mplementing the software required extensive data conversion and custom development that included training, custom reports, and programming services. In addition to this, Tessitura Network, Inc ., retains exclusive ownership, copyrights, trademark of its proprietary Tessitura software cloud services and is the sole, authorized provider of the maintenance, support, and licensing of its software. For these reasons, MNIT partnering with the Zoo, determined this to be a single source purchase.
