ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The City of Fate is soliciting bids for the construction of the following project:
FATE DOWNTOWN PARK
IMPROVEMENTS
Bids must be delivered to the City Secretary for the City of Fate at 1900 CD Boren Parkway, Fate, Texas
75087, no later than 2:00 PM local time, Thursday, September 24, 2026, and then publicly opened and read
aloud in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
Electronic (PDF) Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents are available through the office of
Parkhill - Fort Worth Office. Bidders may secure copies of the Bid Documents as follows:
1. By contacting Iridian Carrasco at ircarrasco@parkhill.com or 682.399.6473. Additional
information can be found at https://parkhill.com/projects-for-bid.
2. Download documents (.PDF file extension format) from Parkhill's Info Exchange web site
after registering as a plan holder with issuing Parkhill office. There is no cost for this option.
Contract Document PDFs will be available beginning Wednesday, September 02, 2026.
Questions regarding distribution of Contract Documents and design related questions for this project shall
be directed to Iridian Carrasco, ircarrasco@parkhill.com, at Parkhill. All questions concerning this project
shall be submitted by 5:00 PM on Thursday, September 17, 2026. Any questions submitted after this
time and date will not be addressed.
This project generally consists of: Tree protection, earthwork, utilities, storm drainage, vehicular paving
(parking lot), pedestrian paving, gateway sign, stage and pavilion, open synthetic lawn, BBQ smoker
metal cover, site electrical and lighting, landscape improvements, irrigation, and coordination with work
to be done by Others. Work by Others to include the addition of restaurant containers, restroom
containers, containers sign, and storage containers.
Bid security in the sum of 5 percent of the total bid amount and in the form of a cashier's check, certified
check or Surety Proposal Bond, shall accompany all bids as stipulated in the Instruction to Bidders.
The City of Fate reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous interpretation of the Bids submitted in
the case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, to reject any or all Bids, and/or waive
formalities.
