Notice of bid opportunity - Capacity Building Mentorship Program Administrator

The Washington State Department of Transportation (“WSDOT”) is issuing this Competitive Solicitation pursuant to RCW 39.26. Pursuant to this Competitive Solicitation, WSDOT intends to conduct a competitive procurement to award an Agency Contract for WSDOT to procure a vendor to provide program management for WSDOT's Capacity Building Mentorship Program (CBMP).
The Capacity Building Mentorship Program (CBMP is a partnership among the Association Council of Engineering Companies, the Association of General Contractors, Sound Transit, the City of Seattle, King County, and the Port of Seattle. By supporting CBMP, the construction industry enhances the capacity of small and diverse businesses, ensuring that all Washington contractors are offered fair and equitable opportunities and support.
The successful bidder will administer a program that pairs active prime contractors and consultants with smaller contractors, fosters relationships, increases profitability for small firms by strengthening the protégés’ ability to work on larger public-funded projects, and benefits larger contractors by providing better subcontractors.
