Description:

Remove existing 40-gallon gas fired water heater. Install new 40-gallon gas fired water heater, do not

use Richmond brand. Turn the new unit so that the front of the water heater is accessible. Replace the

old brass inline shut of valve with new inline shut off. Install an approved TPRV line no less the 6”

from the floor. Make sure the flue has proper venting into the chimney. Water Heater must be lit and

operational at the proper temps before leaving. Plumbing permit is required before work starts.

Qualifications:
1. Bidders must be currently licensed with the Illinois Secretary of State, bonded, and insured.
2. Bidders must have or be able to obtain all applicable licenses and permits in addition to meeting
all local, state, and federal requirements to perform requested work.
3. Bidders must have and provide proof of General Liability, Vehicle, and Workers Compensation
Insurances and name the City of Rock Island as a Certificate Holder.
4. Bidders must own or be able to rent sufficient equipment to complete the work.
