The Threatened Sites grant program is accepting proposals for FY26 grants to address situations where archaeological data is in danger of loss. Each year, the Threatened Sites program funds several projects where it is known that a site or collection is in danger. Annual funding for the Threatened Sites program is $50,000. DHR anticipates funding four to six projects. To apply for the grant opportunity, proposals must be submitted by 5PM on Sunday, August 31, 2025, and must be submitted through WebGrants: https://vadhr.webgrantscloud.com/index.do
