ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Project: RFB2025-19 -- 2025 L.M.I.G. & NON L.M.I.G. Roadway Paving

Owner:            Barrow County Board of Commissioners

Sealed bids will be received by the Barrow County Board of Commissioners, Winder, Georgia, for asphalt paving of various roadways in Barrow County.

Bids will be received in the office of the Barrow County Board of Commissioners, County Clerk’s Office, at 30 North Broad Street, Winder, Georgia 30680, until 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 13, 2025.  Any bid received after said time and date, will not be considered by Owner.  Bids will be opened and read aloud in the Commission Meeting Room on the Second Floor of the Historic Courthouse at the above address at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2025. All bids will be evaluated and the project will be awarded, if it is awarded, within 60 days of the bid opening.

Each bid must be in accordance with specifications and must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Owner.  Each sealed envelope containing a bid must be plainly marked on the outside as “RFB2025-19 – 2025 L.M.I.G. & NON L.M.I.G. Roadway Paving”. If a bid is forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the bid must be enclosed in another envelope to the attention of the Owner at the address previously given and also plainly marked with “RFB2025-19 – 2025 L.M.I.G. & NON L.M.I.G. Roadway Paving”.

Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids, to evaluate bids, and to accept any bid which, in its opinion, may be in the best interest of the Owner.  No bid will be rejected without just cause.
