Description: The work of this single bid project includes the gut demolition, envelope replacement and interior fit out of the approximately 65,000sf Jewett Hall, including the roof. The work includes, but is not limited to, brick envelope demolition and reconstruction, concrete slab demolition and removals, cutting and patching, concrete, masonry, structural steel, steel stairs, miscellaneous metals, railings, misc. carpentry, millwork, thermal protection, sealants, doors and frames, aluminum storefronts/entrances, hardware, finishes, acoustic wall/ceiling panels, wall coverings, ceilings, metal studs and GWB partitions, flooring, EPDM Roofing, sitework, mechanical, electrical, fire protection and plumbing; and hazardous materials abatement. A Project Labor Agreement (PLA) has been adopted for this project. This agreement openly promotes bidding from all contractors – union and non-union. The low bidder must execute and abide by the terms of the project-specific Project Labor Agreement. This Project Labor Agreement also impacts acceptable staffing patterns for the project. The PLA should be read in its entirety by all potential bidders prior to submitting a Proposal. A project walk-through has been scheduled for October 6, 2025, at 1:00p.m., meeting at SUNY Fredonia Williams Center Room S204.

All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 3/22 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule.
