Long Term Disability Carrier and Paid Family Leave Administrator

The State University of New York (“SUNY”) offers a Long-Term Disability (“LTD”) insurance plan, hereinafter referred to as the “Program,” for certain eligible professional staff employees at its 29 state-operated campuses and its system headquarters. SUNY also offers Paid Family Leave (“PFL”) coverage for its eligible employees as required by New York State law, since SUNY employees are New York State employees. This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is soliciting proposals from vendors interested in underwriting and administering SUNY’s Program. The RFP is attached to this advertisement. Questions are due no later than October 3, 2025, at 5:00 pm eastern time. Proposals, however, are to be submitted to contract.unit@suny.edu . SUNY makes no reimbursement for travel or travel-related expenses. SUNY reserves the right to make no award.
