Description of Service: Beale Air Force Base (BAFB) requires professional furniture moving and temporary storage services to support various operational, strategic, and emergency needs. These services will provide short-term solutions for relocating and storing office furniture during renovations, emergencies, or mission-related activities. Once the project concludes, whether due to renovation completion, mission change, or emergency resolution, the furniture shall be returned to its original location or relocated to a new designated permanent space.
Scope: The Contractor shall provide professional, on-call services for the removal, relocation, and temporary storage of furniture at BAFB. Services are in support of operational changes, renovation, or emergency requirements and will occur within and between various office locations on base. The contractor is responsible for supplying all labor, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to perform the secure removal and movement of government-owned furniture. Temporary storage may be required in Government provided spaces, or in contractor furnished onsite or off-site storage facilities, based on the needs of each project and at the direction of the Contracting Officer or their authorized representative. Storage solutions shall ensure the protection and accountability of Government property for the duration of the storage period. Upon completion of the project or as directed, the Contractor shall return all furniture to its original location or to a newly designated permanent location. The Contractor is also responsible for clearing all equipment and materials from the work site and returning all affected areas to their original condition or as otherwise specified by the Government.
