| Description: | The proposed work shall include, but not be limited to, providing all facilities, equipment, materials, and labor required to detect and pinpoint leaks including mains, valves, hydrants and customer services, using electronic sonic leak correlation detection instruments designed for this purpose. The Contractor shall also provide the specialized, advanced sensitive electronic detection equipment and skilled operators required to effectively and efficiently perform each leak survey. The Contractor also will furnish to NKWD a map showing the location of each leak discovered on a weekly basis, and also provide a final report as described in the scope of services. Awarded contracts will be of a standby nature and will only be exercised by District as the need for contractual services arises. NKWD will determine the work schedule and the duration of each activity. The Contractor has the right to decline work if it is unable to provide manpower and/or equipment at the time of the request Contracts will be awarded for a one-year period beginning, with an option to extend for two additional one-year periods. |
