Notification for Bulk Sale of Organically Based Fertilizer
PROCEDURES FOR SALE
The City of Fayetteville is pleased to announce the offering of dried municipal biosolids fertilizer for bulk purchase. This organically based fertilizer is Class A/Exceptional Quality Biosolids, as defined by the 40 CFR 503 regulations.
Be advised that the commitment date for fertilizer purchases from the City of Fayetteville Biosolids Management. Site will be Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 8:30 AM, local time. The commitment will only be taken via telephone by calling (479) 587-7128.
The prices for the fertilizer are set for the period of September 1, 2026, to February 28, 2027, as follows:
1. Small Bulk (1/4 ton to 1 ton) – $80 per ton (minimum purchase of $20, regardless of the purchase amount)
2. Medium Bulk (> 1 ton to 20 tons) – $50 per ton
3. Large Bulk (> 20 tons to 100 tons) – $20 per ton
The commitment and standby lists will be valid until the 28th.
