ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The City of West Memphis invites interested partes to submit sealed bids for Stormwater Pump Staton Modifications at three locations: Rice Street, Rich Road, and Ingram Boulevard. All three locations are to bid as one project. Bids will be received at City Hall, 205 S Redding, West Memphis AR. 72301 until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 26th, 2026, at which time, the bids will be opened and read aloud. The bid opening is open to the public.
At the Rice Street site, the work consists generally of removing and storing an existing stormwater pump and appurtenances, constructing new concrete headwall systems and the associated facilities on both sides of the road crossing, and resetting the pump station after headwalls have been completed.
At the Rich Road site, the work consists generally of replacing a retaining wall system with a new concrete headwall system on the downstream side of the road crossing.
At the Ingram Boulevard site, the work consists generally of removing and storing existing storm water pumps and appurtenances, constructing new concrete headwall systems on both sides of the road crossing, and resetting of the pump stations after headwalls have been completed. Hardscape improvements include resurfacing a section of Ingram Boulevard, installing new curb, gutter and sidewalks in the area.
All Bidders must be licensed contractors to perform the type of work specified in the bid as required by the State of Arkansas.

The West Memphis Utilities reserves the right to waive irregularities; to reject bids in its sole discretion for any reason; to postpone the award of the contract for a period that shall not exceed beyond 60 days from the bid opening date.
