AABBOOUUTT UUSS
The Belmont Sports Complex is a new, state-of-the-art ice arena proudly
owned and operated by the Town of Belmont. Located right here in Belmont,
the Sports Complex gives residents and the surrounding community a place
to skate, play, gather, and enjoy recreation throughout the year.
Belmont is an urban, residential community in the greater Boston area,
known for its beautiful neighborhoods, excellent schools, and
strong sense of community. The Belmont Sports Complex adds
another place for residents and families to come together, stay
active, and enjoy recreation close to home.
Since opening in November 2025, the Sports Complex has welcomed skaters
of all ages and skill levels. The rink is open seven days a week and offers a
variety of ways to get on the ice, including public skate sessions, stick and
puck, ice rentals, youth and adult programs, hockey programs, and special
events throughout the season. Whether you are learning to skate, playing on
a team, watching a game, or just spending time with family and friends, there
is always something happening at the rink.
The Sports Complex was also built with sustainability in mind. The facility
uses a carbon dioxide-based refrigeration system and rooftop solar panels,
helping reduce its environmental impact while supporting the rink's
operations for years to come.
The Belmont Sports Complex is also a great place for local businesses and
organizations to get involved. With thousands of people visiting the rink
throughout the year, advertising at the Sports Complex gives businesses an
opportunity to get their name in front of local families, athletes, teams, and
visitors. We offer a variety of advertising options throughout the facility,
making it easy for local businesses to find a way to be part of the Sports
Complex and the Belmont community.

OUR PROGRAMS
OOUURR PPRROOGGRRAAMMSS
The Belmont Sports Complex Ice Rink, home of the Skip Viglirolo
Rink, welcomes many visitors each year and has quickly become a
gathering place for the skating community. During the busiest winter
months, the facility welcomes 10,000-15,000+ visitors and provides
more than 1,300 hours of ice time throughout the season. During the
off-season, the facility will also host a variety of non-ice programs,
recreational activities, and larger community events.
Community Programs - Public skating, Stick & Puck, learn-to-skate
programs, school programs, and special events make up more than
one-third of the rink's ice time. These programs give residents of all
ages opportunities to get on the ice and enjoy the facility.
Youth Hockey - The rink is home to practices, games, clinics, and
tournaments for local organizations including Belmont Youth Hockey,
Belmont High School Hockey, and Belmont Hill School. The Skating
Club of Boston, Belmont Recreation, and other local groups also use
the rink to introduce young skaters and athletes to hockey and
skating.
Adult Hockey - Adult hockey offers opportunities for both new and
experienced players ages 18 and older. Programs include men's
hockey leagues and scrimmages, women's learn-to-play programs,
Sunday night women's scrimmages, and instructional opportunities
for skaters and goalies. These programs give adults a chance to learn
the sport, improve their skills, and play in a welcoming environment.
Figure Skating & Skating Clubs - The rink also provides ice time for
figure skating lessons, skating clubs, exhibitions, and special events.
Local skating organizations and individual skaters can use the facility
throughout the year for both instruction and recreation.

RINK ADVERTISING

Rink advertising is an excellent way to put your message
in front of a broad audience of participants and
spectators with discretionary income. Many participants
visit the rink multiple times a week and spend at least one
hour, ensuring maximum exposure for your ad.
Additionally, the rink utilizes a service called "Live Barn"
which enables people to view hockey games from home.
Many ads are visible in this virtual environment.
Ads inside ther ink are displayedf or 12 months
from the time of installation.
