2023 RURAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT: POTABLE WATER TANK REHABILITATION
Bids for the construction of 2023 Rural Development Project: Potable Water Tank Rehabilitation will be
received at the Calhoun Water Association located at 99 Calhoun Road, Laurel, MS 39443 or
electronically at www.engserviceplans.com, until Friday, June 5, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. local time. At that
time the Bids received will publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
Rehabilitation and repainting of two (2) elevated water storage tanks. Indian Springs Tank storage
capacity is 75-000-gallon. Service Road Tank storage capacity is 200,000-gallon. Work will include
exterior and interior sand blasting and repainting, sand containment, vent pipe replacement, manway
replacement, installation of safety cable systems to ladders, installation of lockable ladder guard,
extending overflow pipe to ground level with screen, lid, and splashpad, miscellaneous metal repairs
by epoxy and welding.

Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the following website:

Bidding Documents may be viewed and purchased from the designated website. The website will be
updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information
relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding
Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be
responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the
designated website.
Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained by paying a non-refundable deposit for each
set.

Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through
Thursday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. to noon on Friday.

For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer
to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
This project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements under Title IX of
the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), Pub. L. 117-58, § 70901-70953. Absent an approved
waiver, all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in this project must be
produced in the United States.
