ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for construction of the Terrene Landing River Park Project, Contract V – Boat Ramp Addition,
will be received by the Board of Supervisors of Bolivar County, Mississippi, at the Bolivar County
Courthouse Annex, 200 South Court Street Cleveland, Mississippi 38732, until 10:000 AM, local time on
Friday, June 5, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The project consists of the addition of the second boat ramp at the Terrene Landing River Park in Bolivar
County, MS. The work includes crushed limestone base course, asphalt pavement, pavement markings,
concrete pavement, site electrical service, site water utilities and other incidentals as indicated on the
project drawings.
Bidding Documents may examine free of charge at the office of the Engineer, Eley|McPherson
Engineering, P.A., 306 Third Street, Cleveland, Mississippi, 38732, Tel. 662-846-0180; at the Office of the
Chancery Clerk of Bolivar County; or at participating plan rooms. Bidding Documents may be purchased
online at centralbidding.com upon payment of the printing charge established by the plan room, which is
not refundable. Plan holders will be required to have a valid email address and must purchase the Bidding
Documents in order to be eligible to submit a Bid.
Bids may be submitted in person, by mail or electronically. For delivery in person or by mail, the Bid must
be enclosed in a sealed envelope and plainly marked on the outside of the envelope with the following:
Bid for the Terrene Landing River Park Project, Contract V – Boat Ramp Addition, to be opened at 10:00
AM, Friday, June 5, 2026, and addressed to the Board of Supervisors of Bolivar County, Mississippi, at the
Bolivar County Courthouse Annex, 200 South Court Street Cleveland, Mississippi 38732. In addition, the
envelope shall list the bidders Company Name, Company Address, and the Bidder’s Mississippi State
Contractor’s License number. The Owner and Engineer assume no responsibility for premature opening
of any bid envelope which is not properly marked.
For electronic delivery, Bids must be submitted at centralbidding.com. All electronic Bids must be
submitted in portable electronic format (PDF) and must contain the same information, forms and Bid
Security as required for paper bids.
Bid Security in the amount of five (5) percent of the maximum total bid amount is required. No bidder
may withdraw his bid within 60 calendar days after the actual date of opening.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all bids.
