Information Technology Services For Apple Device Bid
Purpose
The JPSD is seeking sealed proposals from authorized and qualified Vendors to establish a source of supply
purchase agreement between JPSD and a selected Vendor to purchase Apple devices, software, services,
accessories that meet the JPSD standards. Vendors shall bid as specified, with no alternates. Vendor shall
warrant that the devices and other items shall be delivered new and not as a "used, substituted, rebuilt,
refurbished or reinstalled" product.
Scope of Work
It is the goal of the JPSD, through the RFP process, to establish a source of supply purchase agreement with
vendor(s) from the date of the Jackson Public School District Board of Trustees approval of the award until June
30, 2029, that is not to-exceed U. S. Educational unit pricing for all items. Orders will not be made all at once,
but on an as-needed basis until the end of term. The vendor is expected to supply a standard price that does
not vary based on quantity, frequency of the order, or delivery location.
All mobile computers, desktops and tablets quoted by the vendor must be capable of being managed by Jamf
School, which is the District's current MDM. All device orders must include a Jamf School lifetime license.
Term
It is the intent of the JPSD for the term of agreement to be from the date of the Jackson Public School District Board
of Trustees approval of the award until June 30, 2029, unless terminated earlier as provided.
Pricing for Orders
Vendors must fill out attached spreadsheet, Apple-Device-PriceList.xlsx.
Bid prices may not exceed published U.S. Educational unit pricing, and prices may not increase during the
term more than that which is permitted by Mississippi state law. The Vendor is expected to supply a standard
price that does not vary based on quantity, frequency of the order, or delivery location. JPSD will request
quotes for each order and the Vendor is encouraged to investigate and provide all possible educational,
quantity, and any other available discounts. Shipping must be included in the total price bid for each item.
Quantity
Quantities are not guaranteed. No minimum number of devices is guaranteed. The District expects the
successful bidder to provide the lowest price possible for all computers and mobile devices purchased from
the JPS Board of Trustees approval of the RFP until June 30, 2029. All purchases are contingent on funding.
Substitutes and Upgrades
* SUBSTITUTES: If market circumstances cause components to no longer be available and/or the
part number drops or changes, the awarded Vendor is expected, within reason and in good faith,

to offer an equivalent or better substitute at or below the original proposed price.
* UPGRADES: Cognizant of the continual change and evolution of computer technology, the JPSD
reserves the right to upgrade individual components of each system to accommodate said
changes. The Contractor shall: (1) agree to sell new and current state-of-the-art components to
the JPSD under the same pricing method quoted in this Proposal, and (2) provide customer
service calls to share knowledge pertaining to changing computer technology and to assist the
JPSD planning efforts to advantageously stay abreast of technology impacting educational
institutions.
* The JPSD must approve all substitutes or upgrades.
* The JPSD's unit pricing may be adjusted upward when the JPSD requests upgrades based on new
technology. Minor pricing changes permitted by Mississippi law may be mutually agreed upon
during the term of the contract.
Delivery
* JPSD shall not be responsible for any products delivered without an approved purchase order.
* All goods are to be shipped FOB Destination freight prepaid and included.
* All deliveries are to be made to the applicable delivery location as indicated on purchase order.
Ability to Perform
* Vendor must provide a copy of or a detailed statement of standard warranty terms and conditions
for Apple devices (Outside of the purchased Apple Care)
* Vendor shall provide documentation as to any optional value-added services such as web-based
order/shipment tracking; web-based records of equipment specifications ordered and history
database on each system purchased by the JPSD.
