Camrose County
Camrose County (the County) is seeking proposals from qualified professional consultants to undertake a comprehensive assessment of existing streetlighting infrastructure within all individual subdivisions and hamlets throughout the County.

The purpose of this project is to:

-Inventory and assess existing streetlighting assets, ownership, technologies, and operating conditions.
-Provide a GIS shapefile of current streetlighting assets, along with applicable attributes and information on each asset.
-Evaluate and summarize current financial arrangements and cost recovery mechanisms associated with streetlighting.
-Develop recommendations to standardize streetlighting design, technology, service levels, and ownership models where appropriate.
-Establish equitable and defensible approaches to allocating capital and operating costs among benefitting parcels.
-Develop a clear County-wide streetlighting policy and long-term strategy to guide decision-making in existing and future developments.
