Description
The City of Covington is seeking an experienced and dynamic professional consultant team to develop
Phase II of the Downtown Master Plan. Phase I laid the groundwork by implementing several
foundational actions, including launching social media campaigns to boost community event visibility
and attract businesses, updating marketing materials, and establishing branding that reflects the city's
historic charm. It also involved reviewing and potentially expanding the Downtown Historic District
and Development Authority boundaries, creating a zoning overlay for Washington Street, and
identifying funding sources for future initiatives.
