Solicitation Description:

The City of San Marcos issoliciting sealed bids to be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building4, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, as outlined below:


Solicitation Number: IFB 224-288 Davis Lane Lift Station and Gravity Main Improvements

Scope of Project: Includes butis not limited to reversing flow by reconstructing a portion of the gravity main (approx. 350 LF) on Davis Lane and installing a gravity main crossingacross Davis Lane; constructing a lift station capable of 1,000 GPM flow; andconstructing 10” and 6” HDPE force main (approx. 50 LF) and tie into existing10” and 6” force main. The estimated construction cost for this project is $2,319,007.15.

Bidders must submit acashier’s check, certified check, or acceptable bidder’s bond with their bid inthe amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted.


A non-mandatory pre-bid video conferencewill be held on December 3, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time. Requests for access tovideo conference must be submitted to RShelton@sanmarcostx.gov atleast 30 minutes prior to the pre-bid videoconference.


Bids must bereceived in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 3, 630 E. Hopkins St.,San Marcos, TX 78666, no later than January 9, 2025, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time,and will be conducted via videoconferencing. Teams meeting link is included insolicitation.

Award is scheduled for the March 4, 2025, City Council meeting at 6:00p.m. or any subsequent time unless otherwise rescheduled.
