Executive Search Firm - Assistant Vice President, Health and Wellness

The University at Buffalo (“University”) is seeking proposals for executive search firm services (“Services”) under this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) to fill the Assistant Vice President, Health and Wellness position within the University’s Division of Student Life. Incumbent for this position would serve as the primary leader dedicated to the overall health and wellness of the University’s student body, providing vision, leadership, and supervision to the critical departments of Student Health Services, Counseling Services, and Health Promotion.

Estimated Salary Range: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00

Duties of this position shall include, but not be limited to:

• Providing strategic leadership and innovative vision to foster student health and wellbeing on campus through programs, services, education, and awareness.
• Developing and sustaining collaborative partnerships with other divisions, departments, administrative leaders, academic units, faculty, and students to enhance health and wellbeing on campus.
• Organizing and lead an ongoing strategic planning and assessment process for the health and wellness portfolio to ensure programs and services meet the wellbeing needs of UB students.
• Overseeing financial and administrative performance of the health and wellness portfolio; responsible for the preparation of the health and wellness portfolio annual budget submission and ensuring resource allocation aligns with strategic direction of health and wellness efforts.
• Fostering an equitable and inclusive campus that celebrates the diversity of the University at Buffalo and ensuring programs and services meet the needs of a diverse student body.
• Advancing campus health and wellness support resources to meet the changing needs of students and working to ensure these programs, resources, and services are known and utilized throughout the UB community.
• Assisting in the management of student crises and critical incidents on campus.
