Magnolia Elevated Tank Rehabilitation and Upgrade

Project Description:

This project consists of the following elements of work:

• Recoat the tank’s interior and exterior surfaces,
• Seismically retrofit the tank to include replacement of the existing cross braces and upgrading the anchorage of the columns to the foundation,
• Safety improvements to include new ladders, a new landing, and replacement of the climb cable,
• Water Quality improvements,
• Site improvements to include new security fencing and gravel road,
• Seismic Improvements to the water piping system; and
• Electrical improvements.

Engineer's Estimate: $9,250,000 (without tax)

Project Location: The Magnolia elevated water tank is located in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle between W Prosper St on the north and W Dravus St on the south, and between 39 ^th Ave W on the west and 38 ^th Ave W on the east
