BID 26-14 TALBOT COUNTY HOG NECK GOLF COURSE TWO-TIER DRIVING RANGE, 10142 OLD CORDOVA ROAD, EASTON, MARYLAND 21601

Sealed Bids for this project shall be accepted by the Office of the Talbot County Manager, South
Wing, Talbot County Courthouse, 11 North Washington Street, Suite 13, Easton, Maryland 21601
until 10:30 a.m. local time on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at which time they shall be opened
and read aloud. Emailed, faxed, or other electronic bids will not be accepted. Incomplete or
untimely bids shall not be considered. It is the bidder’s responsibility to ensure that their bid is
complete and submitted in a timely manner. The County assumes no responsibility to notify
bidders of incomplete or untimely bids.
The Scope of Work for this project consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment,
transportation, delivery, disposal, and other services required to construct a Two-Tier Driving
Range at the Hog Neck Golf Course located at 10142 Old Cordova Road, Easton, Maryland 21601
in accordance with the specifications and plans completed by Davis, Bowen and Friedel, Inc. dated
August 14, 2026. The contract for this project shall be awarded based on the lowest, responsible,
and responsive lump sum Bid.
A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2026,
at the Hog Neck Golf Course Pro-Shop, 10142 Old Cordova Road, Easton, Maryland.
Plans, Specifications, and Other Contract Documents may be obtained on and after Friday,
August 21, 2026, at the Talbot County Department of Public Works, Talbot County Government
Office Complex, 215 Bay Street, Suite 6, Easton, Maryland 21601 upon a non-refundable payment
of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for each electronic set. Written questions and comments
regarding the Plans, Specifications, and Other Contract Documents shall be directed to Payton
Bridge, AlA, NCARB, Sr. Architect, Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc., p1b(dbfinc.com, and shall be
received no later than 12:00 p.m. two (2) weeks prior to the bid opening date in order that responses
can be provide to all bidders in advance of the bid opening date.
Partial sets of the Plans, Specifications, and Other Bid Documents will be available from the
issuing office. The County shall not be responsible for full or partial sets of Plans, Specifications,
and Other Bid Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the issuing
office. Bids will not be accepted from bidders who have not registered, obtained and paid for the
Plans, Specifications, and Other Bid Documents.
Bid Security shall be furnished as stipulated in the project Specifications, Information for Bidders.

The County Council of Talbot County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any
bid, or portions thereof, when in their judgment, the public will be better served. The County may
extend the time and place for the opening of the bids from that described in the advertisement,
with not less than two (2) calendar days’ notice to those bidders receiving plans.
